Tasting Notes:

Deep purple this wine is very extracted and dark. On the nose it shows aromas of prunes, raisins and dried black fruit with a full palate that follow the nose. It tastes of sweet blackberries and tar with medium tannins and balanced acidity. It finishes with medlium length slightly bitter, slight sweet but very satisfying. An excellent value Amarone.

Vinification:

After careful the grapes are gathered in wooden cases and placed on in airy rooms to obtain the maximun sugar concentration in the drying. Pressing takes place in January and February and so there is a long steeping process which assures a very full-bodied wine which is rich in noble tannin and extracts which bring out its flavour.

Aging:

Aged in oak vats for 3-4 years followed by further maturing in the bottle.
