Tasting Notes:

Definte notes of Nebbiolo but approachable immediately. Sour cherries, leather, rose petals and bitter almond on the nose, the palate is remarkably soft yet firmed by fresh acidity and medium but ripe tannins. The dried cranberry and tar finish is long and satisfying.

Vinification:

Maceration with the skins in heat controlled steel vats.

Aging:

maturation for 9 months in used durmast barriques and barrels

Food Pairings:

Not as full-bodied as a Barolo but has enough structure to handle most grilled and roasted red meats and some lighter game like ostrich.
